Southern Living Article

Just wanted to tell everyone to keep an eye out for a slipcover article in Southern Living. It all started with a phone call about 2 years ago, saying they saw an article "SCAD alumna sews a successful career in Savannah "that was written in the campus chronicle about me. They told me they wanted to stop in and check out my store and ask me some questions. Which they did a few weeks later, then about a year after that they called again and said the wanted to feature me in an article about slipcovers. They wanted to know if i had a client that wouldn't mind if they came and did a photo shoot of their slipcovers. I instantly thought of one of my best clients Diane of Mermaid Cottages in Tybee Island. Which i would highly recommend if ever visiting Tybee Island in Georgia. I had done probably over 50 slipcovers for her and she had two beautiful houses right next door to each other that could be easily photographed. So in March of 2008 they came from Southern Living and did a 2-3 day photo shoot. We were told the article should be out sometime in the beginning of 2009, and can't wait! So keep your eyes open.

Married!

Well I am now officially married!!
Now that everything has calmed down maybe I will have time to write more.
The wedding was a blast. It poured rain, so we had to have the ceremony inside but it was beautiful, short and sweet!! I woke up the morning of with no voice and ended the night with a fever. But we still had a great time and couldn't of asked for anything else. The party was a hit, the food was great and the band (Bottles and Cans from Savannah) was amazing. And the kids danced all night!
